Your Crew Richard & Kathy

We have been running crewed charter yachts in the Mediterranean for over 20 years.   We have been very lucky to sail with hundreds of interesting guests and enjoy bringing our knowledge of the destinations and  yachts together to create tailor made cruises.

Richard, your captain is a professional yacht skipper and has experience with both sailing and motor yachts.  He has a love of the Mediterranean, the culture, cuisine and the people.  Richard originally worked in engineering before setting off on his own sailing yacht from England to Turkey.  Since then he has been working as a skipper on a variety of yachts; from luxury crewed charter yachts, to flotilla captain and a 38 metre barge on the canals of France.  Returning to his first love of sailing,  Richard uses his experience of the places and the local weather to help you put together the ideal cruise.  He can also mix a good gin and tonic.

Kathy is your cook and responsible for the domestic side of the yacht charter.  She has a love of collecting recipes as you can see from the Kathy's Recipes.  After graduating Kathy worked in London developing computer systems for the police.  She met Richard in the Ionian and eventually gave up her job to work with Richard.  Like Richard, Kathy loves the culture and cuisine of the Mediterranean.
